Doctoral Student Section (young researcher section)

Doctoral students are invited to submit and present results of their doctoral research on any of CECIIS conference topics. Completed or ongoing research can be presented in a form of a full research paper (to be presented in a Research Track) or a preliminary research report i.e. a doctoral research paper or poster (to be presented in the Doctoral Student Section). Presentation at the Doctoral Student Section aims at eliciting feedback from academic experts, fostering multi-disciplinary and cross-sectorial collaboration and building student's professional networks.

Full research papers

Papers that present complete or ongoing research related to a CECIIS conference topic, with proven or potential capability to advance the state of research in the area of ICT. Complete research papers are limited to 8 pages or approximately 20,000 characters. Research papers should be submitted to one of the 8 defined Main Conference Topics. Full research papers undergo double blind review. Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. Find author guidelines and templates, and submit your paper here.

Doctoral research papers

Papers submitted by doctoral students that present ongoing research related to a CECIIS conference topic. Doctoral research papers are limited to 3 pages. Doctoral research papers will be reviewed for compliance with conference topics. Accepted papers will be presented at the Doctoral Student Section. Doctoral research posters

Posters submitted by doctoral students that present ongoing research and practice, including new ideas, initial results, open questions, development plans, etc. with a potential to contribute to any CECIIS conference topic. Poster should be A1 size, portrait orientation and in English. Doctoral research poster abstracts will be reviewed for compliance with conference topics. Accepted posters will be displayed and discussed during the Doctoral Student Section. Find author guidelines and templates, and submit your poster abstract here.
