The opening ceremony of the conference will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019, beginning at 09:30 am at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics in Varaždin (Room 1), with the presence of high-ranked guests and supporters of this year’s conference.
After the opening, three keynote speakers will speak at the conference. Prof. Wolf Rauch from the Karl Franzens University Graz (Austria) will give an overview through 30 years of information science, prof. Sirje Virkus from the Tallinn University (Estonia) will talk about the digital transformation in higher education, while Prof. Gȕnter Mȕller from the University of Freiburg (Germany) addresses the topic ‘Digital transformation: better world or crisis of trust?'.

The program also includes two professional workshops: 'Workshop on Data Analysis' and 'DIGITRANS Method Fast Forward interactive workshop', which will be held on the third day of the conference, on Friday, October 4th, 2019 (09:00 am).
The conference will present national and international projects in which the Faculty of Organization and Informatics participates as the coordinator or a partner, mostly funded by the European Union programes.
The CECIIS 2019 conference attendees of the will also be able to participate in a professional event called 'Computer Games - Professional Achievements', which aims to give professionals, students and other interested stakeholders a place to present their professional and developmental achievements in the field of computer games. The meeting will be held on Friday, October 4th, 2019 in Croatian language.
Among the parallel events, the presentation of student scientific papers, will also take place during the conference at the second floor at FOI on the first day of the conference, October 2nd.
On the second day of the conference, October 3rd, the 11th International Doctoral Seminar 2019 will be held, providing PhD students with an opportunity to present and discuss their own research proposals, and receive feedback from experts in the field. Student papers will also be published in the CECIIS 2019 Conference Proceedings.
In addition, the conference program includes a guided tour through the city of Varaždin and a trip to Međimurje.
