The "DEMO - Digital Platform Enterprise" project consortium met today at CECIIS in a meeting organized by Full. Prof. Vjeran Strahonja, Ph.D., project manager at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, to discuss previous project activities, adoption of the curriculum, methodology and learning design for the summer school, learning materials, content, and format for the summer school, learning environment and tools, and future activities. The goal of the project is to improve the competencies and skills of students for Digital Enterprise Management through an online learning environment with collaborative elements and practices from the spheres of business engineering, computing, information systems and business informatics in the context of Digital Platform Enterprise management.
As a parallel event, a tutorial on design thinking topics was held for many interested participants. The goal of this event was to generate ideas by using different design thinking methods, based on tangible visualization of certain aspects of the problem and collaborative developed solution space.
This year's sponsors had the opportunity to present their work within the Sponsors Session which was held as an online event.
As a final event CECIIS organizers held the conference closing session. The CECIIS 2022 conference Program Committee awarded the authors of this year's best paper, and the participants voted for the best poster.
Jože Rožanec, Tadej Krivec, Vid Keršič, Larsen Cundrič, Blaž Stojanovič, Marko Zeman and Ivan Bratko from FAKS received the Best Paper Award at this year's conference for their work entitled Bicycle Sharing Systems meet AI: forecasting bicycles availability and decision-making. The Paper was presented within INTELLIGENT SYSTEMS section. The Award was assigned by Organizing Committee chair Asst. Prof. Petra Grd, Ph.D.
The best poster award goes to Ivana Đunđek Kokotec, Ivana Fojs, Nikolina Posarić, and Karolina Kokot for the research poster named „5.0 Bubble New Opportunities for Business and Education“.
We are thankful to all our partners, supporters and sponsors for helping us organize a conference with more than 25 events, 210 authors, 57 papers, 114 reviewers, 12 posters, and 11 student posters.
Special thanks go to members of the Programme and Organizing Committees, committee chairs as well as other chairs of the conference.
At the closing ceremony, the organizers announced that the 34th CECIIS conference theme will be 'DIGITAL HUMAN'. The conference will take place in Dubrovnik.
